Tutti Tutto

I have a couple of pictures of the shop at the Tutto yarn factory, which, considering it was full of sock yarn, was a bit disappointing because you practically can get most of the yarn for the same price all over Germany. The grab bags were cheap, but I didn't want 1 or 2 kg of various leftover (or whatever) balls. I am funny that way. I want to knit 2 socks with one ball, or, respectively, one sock with one ball. Uh uh, not for me, thank you very much. I did buy some Opal Hundertwasser, since that's what I had my eye on.

wow! that is a lot of sock yarn! too bad it wasn't a better deal. But, I guess to have it all in one place to pick from is pretty good!

I am so envious of your Hundertwasser yarn!

I have a couple of the grab bags that I got last time I was there -- in mine, there are actually quite a few full 100 gramme balls, but I may have just lucked out that time.

Being German I do feel spoiled by the prices and often selection available to me there. Having lived in the USA and now in the UK it is definitely more expensive, especially trying to support the local shops and spinners. Nice buy though!

That is a cool wheel-o-feet! Since I'm going to be knitting a mitered-square afghan, can I put in an order for one of those grab bags for the next time you go back...? :)
