'tis about time

Lousy blogger as I am I have neglected my blog long enough. Not that I have an idea what to write about myself, but I got a question by Anonymus in my comments about the pattern for the pink alpaca hat. Thanks for the compliments, by the way, they make my day!

I am flattered and feel a bit strange at the same time when people ask me for a pattern and I have to say: "Uhm, yes, uh, that would be my own. I made it up." But I haven't written any instructions. Yet. That is, not really, 'cause what I call instructions you would probably wave off as doodles and funny combinations of numbers.

However, I am dreaming of having a small section in my sidebar where you will be able to find some of my stuff as pdfs so you could knit it too, if you wanted to. I just have to wake up to make the dream come true. Somebody set my alarm clock already!

I think that's a great idea! I wanted to ask about the cable hat too but figured that since it was your own design, you'd post the pattern if/and/or/when you wanted to.

I was going to email you, but I don't see an email address.
I would like to thank you for the lovely Embossed Leaves sock pattern. It is rare to find a pattern so well thought out. The details such as the star toe finishing off the last leaves, just perfect. The garter edged heel that follows the purl stitches down the foot to the purl detail of the star toe. It is so evident that you put a lot of thought into this pattern. I hope to see more of you sock patterns in the future. I am sure I will knit this pattern again. Beautiful and so feminine.
Thanks again
