Coffee interruptus

I am at a point where the whole moving thing gets annoying. I don't want any interruption of my routine anymore. I want the sweetener to be where it is supposed to be when I open the cupboard to prepare my morning coffee for consumption. I don't want to have to open several doors before I find it because yesterday we packed dishes and Rolf moved the stuff we still need around. I took out a dinner plate before I realized I can't use the dinner plate in my hand to sweeten my coffee. I put the sweetener back in its place - a place where it belongs for three more mornings.

I know what you mean, 100%. I haven't started to pack, but have already started having dreams about how I am going to seriously be living out of boxes for at least a week. But I am trying to get excited about the idea of simplifying things (who wants to move an entertainment unit? not me. sell it!) and getting someplace that's really, really clean again. And painted according to my request...

Sometimes I think it would be a kindness to have the moving truck "raptured" or captured into oblivion so we could learn to travel light and get to start over. (A great insurance policy would be useful, as well.)
It is so amazing what you can do without once it is packed. (One NEEDS yarn and needles, but not laundry soap or punch bowls, table cloths or all that stuff that might have been in the attic.

Just a quick note to let you know that I am thinking about you and all your moving-ness. I hope you've been able to find the sweetner!
